August 14, 2025Gokulashtami 2025 Celebrations Conclude at Amrita - The three-day Gokulashtami 2025 celebrations at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham concluded today in a vibrant blend of devotion, tradition, and cultural expression. The final day began at dawn with Nagara Sankeerthanam, followed by a grand Krishna procession featuring a beautifully decorated float. Students, faculty, and devotees joined together in singing bhajans, filling the campus with festive energy and spiritual fervour. Winners of various cultural competitions—including classical and semi-classical dance, group music (Indian and Western), mime, skits, chenda competitions, and campus decoration—were felicitated, and the celebrations concluded with a special all-night bhajan session that brought the campus community together in an atmosphere of devotion and joy. The celebrations drew enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and visitors, turning the campus into a hub of vibrant cultural activity over the three days.
